Sainte Foy is an ideal base from which to explore the surrounding countryside and the spectacular Vanoise National Park. The area boasts a number of breathtaking hiking trails and bags of local activities to explore. Bourg Saint Maurice the nearest town within 15 minutes has both indoor and outdoor pools at the Centre Nautique and an excellent adventure playground ideal for children.

Kayaking or white water rafting on the River Isere is a favourite summer activity in the area as well as horse riding through the beautiful rugged terrain.
